Stop Feeding the Content Monster: Build a Smart Marketing Ecosystem Instead

It’s 10 PM on a Sunday. You are tired. You want to relax, but anxiety is creeping in yet again. The “Content Monster” is hungry.

You open your laptop and stare at your empty calendar and feel the pressure looming. You need to create a Reel for Monday, a carousel for Tuesday, and a story for Wednesday, LinkedIn article for Thursday…. You get the point. Offer Enough Value That They Don’t Need To Click

The old school approach was to tease information to generate clicks towards your website (“Link In Bio for our top 5 tips!”). The emerging approach is to give so much value right in the post that they feel they need to engage with the post by saving it or sharing it, and ultimately following you to get more value in the future. This is called “Zero-Click Content”.

For example, I’m a fitness coach. Instead of posting “My new workout plan is live!” – you could make a carousel post with a great 15 minute home workout that details instructions and illustrations of each exercise right in the post.

When you give so freely with value, you then become a trusted source of content. Your audience knows that your next piece of content is well worth their time and enriches their lives in some way.
